Flynn Pharma Ltd was established in Ireland in 1994. At this time, the company acquired a series of barbiturate products. The company manages the continuous supply and medical and regulatory support for these drugs.
In 2004 Flynn Pharma underwent a management restructuring and refinancing, giving it substantial industry and financial backing.In February 2005 the company completed the acquisition of a range of products from Eli Lilly & Co. Ltd., comprising mainly antibiotics, oral and injectable. Flynn Pharma currently markets products in the UK and in Ireland.
In 2006 Flynn was successful in acquiring marketing rights to Medikinet and Medikinet XL, for the treatment of ADHD, for the UK. Medikinet, from Medice GmbH is the market leader in Germany. Medikinet XL was successfully launched in March 2007.
